***************************************************** CONSIDERING ADOPTION: A BIBLICAL PERSPECTIVE Join us for a 12 week class designed to bring you and your spouse together to examine God's perspective on the questions you may have about adoption. Our hope is that this study will help you make a God-directed decision about whether adopting a child is part of God's plan for your life. This class will include both small group Bible study and a DVD series, "If You Were Mine." Join us for all 12 weeks or whenever you can. Newcomers are always welcome. When: Sundays at 10:30am in the Band Room at SGT, beginning January 8 through March 25. ****************************************************** SHOES FOR ORPHAN SOULS SHOE DRIVE completed. Donated: 455 pairs of shoes 622 pairs of socks 153 sets of shoelaces $1,857 donated for shipping and for additional shoes All were shipped to Buckner Int'l in Texas and then will soon be on their way to orphanages around the world. Pray for the children who will receive these shoes. Thank you to ITT Corporation in Amityville for donating the shipping to Texas and for their $500 donation to Shoes for Orphan Souls. Thank you to all of you who have donated also!!! ***************************************************** MISSIONS TRIP TO GUATEMALAN ORPHANAGES SEPTEMBER 11-18, 2010 PRAISE GOD FOR A FRUITFUL WEEK. THE TEAM MINISTERED TO OVER 1,000 CHILDREN IN AND AROUND GUATEMALA CITY, LEADING VBS PROGRAMS AND GIVING NEW SHOES TO ALL. THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU WHO PRAYED FOR THE TEAM AND DONATED AID AND SHOES. PRAY FOR THE CHILDREN IN GUATEMALA. PRAY FOR THOSE LIVING IN ORPHANAGES, THAT THEY WOULD COME TO KNOW THEIR HEAVENLY FATHER WHO IS A FATHER TO THE FATHERLESS.
